This month (as with every month), our special is HONESTY.  We here at TGC understand that a lot of steel companies will advertise “monthly specials” or give you an exact price for a steel building without ever seeing the building site or even speaking with you.  However, as a company that values quality and honesty, we believe in being up front with you on everything involved in the building including cost.  Which is why here at TGC, we will not be including a menu of prices for certain buildings.

The primary reason for this is that it is simply impossible to provide a truly accurate estimate for the entire construction of a steel building without certain information.  Any company that offers a set price for the building without ever speaking with you is probably misleading you.  In general, when other companies provide prices for buildings such as “$19,999 for a 40 X 60,” this price does not include anything except for the base price of the steel.  In fact, most companies that offer such specials do not include the site prep, the foundation work, the anchor bolts, insulation or even the erection of the steel itself.  At TGC, we offer custom-engineered steel buildings - built for you. Our prices are solid and designed to be clear and eliminate any hidden costs.  Quite simply, when you get a price from us, you know exactly what you are getting.

As a courtesy to our customers, we know that as you research steel buildings, it can be useful to have at least a broad figure for prices.  Therefore, we are happy to offer a general guide for pricing our buildings.  In general, an insulated steel building, erected on concrete footings and slab will normally run $20-$50/sq foot.  The factors that will cause this price to vary are site prep, utilities and interior finish work.
